Chanel College's senior Gaelic football team defeated local school St. David's C.B.S yesterday. The score was 2-11 to 0-10 in favour of Chanel with a brace from James Keating and vital saves from Sam Hayden securing the win. It was a closely contested game with the away side (David's) trying to play a scrappy game, but Chanel technically outclassed them on the day. David's missed their fair share of chances and the home side made them pay for their lack of quality in front of goal.
Lets hope the team continue the winning streak for the rest of the season.
