SCHOOL TRIPS
In Chanel College we appreciate that students can grow and develop with their classmates and teachers outside the confines of the school environment.
The 1st Year trip to France, the TY Bonding Trip to Rostrevor and the 5/6th Year Boston ski trip are well established institutions at this stage. Other trips such as the 2nd Year Science trip to London and the TY trip to Rome are run on occasion too.
All trips are run when circumstances and demand allow.
Students mature and build memories for life on these trips.
EDUCATIONAL DAY TRIPS
Teachers in Chanel also recognise that a lot of learning can be done outside the classroom on active and engaging educational day trips.
Whether it be a geography field trip, a construction site visit or bringing Hamlet to life at the Gaiety School of Acting, for example, teachers are constantly searching for innovative and novel ways to help the students learn in a more engaging way.
Other fun days trips such as Tayto Park and Christmas on Ice are run as rewards for students at the end of term.
