EXTRA-CURRICULAR SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
In Chanel College we have a very proud sporting tradition. Access to top of the range sporting facilities for after-school training, enables the teams to prepare and be their best.
What sets Chanel apart, is that it has vibrant, passionate, dynamic and dedicated teachers (some being past pupils) who endlessly give their time and energy to the teams they are coaching.
Experience has shown how extra-curricular activities contribute to the overall wellbeing and development of the students and builds better relationships in the classroom and in school overall.
In football in particular, our teams have achieved many great successes over the years and several past pupils have progressed to youth academies and clubs overseas.
Most recently our u17 Football Team won the North Dublin League and went on to make the Leinster Champions League final.
We try to engage and cater for all our students and their varying interests with Music, Debating and Boardgames clubs for example. Drama also plays a major role in Transition Year with our hugely popular TY Show.
