Visit to DCU and EL Grito

A whole language and cultural experience for 5th Year Spanish

5th Year students visited the Language and Culture Space located in the School of Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies in DCU. They enjoyed fun and creative multilingual activities and were hosted by students ambassadors who shared with them their passion for new language and cultures and their experiences of living abroad as part of an Erasmus programme in Spain, France, Germany and China.

Afterwards, students were privileged to be brought to the Virtual Reality room located in the Business School. They experienced a team building game where they learned the importance of communication in the virtual and real world.

The day was wrapped up with delicious Mexican food in El Grito restaurant. Students tried tacos, quesadillas, tortas and even cactus as part of the "platillos".

An experience that will stick in their memories and "tummies" for life!
