There was much excitement along the corridors and classrooms of Chanel on Thursday the 22nd of October due to a special visit from Toby the dog. Toby is an assistance dog for the brother of one of our 6th year students, whose family very kindly brought him in to raise awareness for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind and the amazing work they do training guide dogs like Toby around the country.
This year all proceeds from our Halloween Fancy Dress fundraiser are going to Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Toby visited lots of classrooms and was the best behaved student in the school. Who knows, he may even have learned a thing or two!
