A proud day for inclusion in Irish education!
Ms Whelan (Chairperson of the Irish Learning Support Association), Ms Bradley (ASTI SET Representative), and Ian Millmore (Senior Cycle student in Chanel College) represented our school at the launch of the new Level 1 & Level 2 Senior Cycle Learning Programme in the National Gallery yesterday — a true milestone in Irish education.
Both teachers have been part of the NCCA SET Development Group, shaping this programme. The hugely important outcome of which is that students with Special Education Needs will be able to stay in Secondary Schools all across Ireland to complete Senior Cycle, just like their peers.
We are extremely proud of Ian who expressed himself so well on the RTE Six One News feature on the day.

Inclusive education benefits everyone by creating learning environments where students with different abilities and backgrounds can participate and succeed together. One challenge that often deserves more attention is ensuring teachers have the time and resources to provide individualized support without feeling overwhelmed. Students looking for additional academic guidance may also find resources such as https://www.assignmenthelp.ie/galway useful alongside classroom learning. Thanks, Assignment Help, for highlighting such an important topic. In your view, what practical changes could schools in Ireland make to further strengthen inclusive education for all learners?
