6th Year Graduation 2023

We rolled out the red carpet (thanks to Value Flooring & Furniture) and welcomed the Class of 2023 onto a star studded stage for their Graduation Ceremony on Thursday 25th May.

The evening started in a full St Brendan's church with mass and lots of reflection on the theme of Resilience and Determination. This particular year group faced huge challenges during the Covid pandemic, but they showed great strength and resolve to get them to where they are today. David and TJ who gave the final speech, referred to the bond that was formed between them and their teachers during that difficult time (and afterwards at events such as Dusk til Dawn) and they thanked all the Chanel staff sincerely for all they have done for them over the years.

After the formal ceremony and awards presentation in the hall, refreshments were provided in the Marquee as proud parents and teachers mingled and paid tribute to these fine young men and wished them all the best for the future.

We wish the Class of 2023 all the best in their upcoming exams and future endeavours in life and we look forward to welcoming them back to share their successes at our Chanel Career's night in the future.

Mr Gill would like to extend a big thank you to all the staff who put in huge amount of work behind the scenes to make this such a successful night.

A special word of thanks to the Religious Education team for leading the event. Thanks to everyone who helped decorate the hall and finally thanks to Ms Brazil (Deputy Principal), Mr Deely (6th Year Year Head) and Ms Gorman (6th Year Academic Monitor) for all their work with regards the Awards Ceremony.
