Earlier in the year Ms Whelan, 3rd year Academic Monitor, launched a positive reward scheme for 3rd years.
Students needed a certain number of points to qualify for the reward and they earned points by working hard for their JC Mock Exams, good behaviour, good attendance, etc.
It was certainly worth all the effort as the reward was a wonderful day trip to Tayto Park.
On Friday 20th May they headed off for a fantastic day out climbing up and down the Cú Chulainn Coaster and all the fun rides at Tayto Park.
