The sun gods shone down on Chanel College on Friday 1st of October as we headed off for our Annual Sponsored Walk. With last year's event being cancelled due to Covid restrictions, it was absolutely wonderful to get out in the fresh air again this year with smiles on our faces.

As ever competition was very tight amongst those who ran the route, especially up the last stretch of Brookwood Avenue. A little over a minute separated the top two runners.
Congratulations to Jamie Keating 5.5 on being the first runner home, in a fantastic time of 41 minutes and 56 seconds, and to Mr. Phelan on being the first teacher to cross the line. Checking our records, Jamie also won the last time out in 2019, so he is setting records all round!
As ever, thanks to Mr O’Keefe and all his helpers for organising the event. A considerable sum of money was raised which will all go to school improvement projects.
