Transition Year students attended a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Workshop in DCU on Tuesday the 8th February.
The aim of the workshop was to explore the wonders of STEM through experiential learning in a university environment. It brought DCU researchers, TYs students and their teachers together to learn, share ideas and create.
The workshop also opened the students' minds to possible careers in STEM, university courses and job opportunities for the future. Very enlightening all round!
