We were all rooting for Mr Jamieson (known on the pitch as AJ Murphy) in the recent Dublin County Hurling Final between Na Fianna and Kilmacud Crokes.
Despite being the underdogs going into the game, Na Fianna made a fantastic start and led for most of the game, helped by 2 great points from Mr Jamieson as wing forward.
Unfortunately, Crokes mounted an unstoppable comeback in the last 10 minutes to force extra time and win out by seven points in the end, causing heartbreak for Na Fianna.
Na Fianna are a young team and something tells us they will be back to create the history they deserve. In the meantime, we will look forward to seeing Mr Jamieson demonstrate his skills on the Parnell's pitches to our keen Chanel hurlers.
