In coach McManus' words, the under 19s football team had "a really difficult game" against St Fintan's on Thursday 28th November. But well done to the lads, they came out comfortable winners in the end, with a score line of 6-2 and goals from:
6th Year art students enjoyed a visit to the Creative Engagement Exhibition 2019 in the National Indoor Sports Arena, Abbottstown on Tuesday 19th November. They found it extremely interesting and in particular enjoyed talking to Senator Maria Louise O Donnell about the Stain Glass Creative Engagement Project.
There was disappointment for u16 hurlers on Monday 4th November. Despite great performances in earlier rounds, they were knocked out of the Leinster Hurling League at the Quarter Final stage. They gave it their all on an absolutely miserable day with the rain pouring down on the pitch in Parnell's. They can hold their heads high for getting so far and representing Chanel so well.

Friday 25th October saw some very strange characters lurking around the corridors of Chanel. The annual Halloween Fancy Dress was a huge success with some of the most creative and inventive costumes we've seen to date. The majority of the teachers got into the spirit of things and special mention goes to Sr Sheanon and Snow White Brady.
