Celebrating Catholic Schools Week

Fr Edwin McCallion of St.Brendan’s Church, Coolock welcomed three schools in his parish to celebrate mass to mark Catholic Schools Week 2019. Chanel college, Mercy college and Scoil Chaitrona prepared beautiful displays celebrating the wonderful work we do in our schools. The Irish Oral is worth 40% of the overall exam for both Higher and Ordinary level students and this was a great workshop for students in the lead up to exams and an opportunity to secure as many marks as possible. It was a huge success on the day with 65 LC students attending. Overall they really enjoyed it and the feedback from the students was very positive. It had a very good influence on their approach to the Irish Oral Exam and their mindset towards the subject in general. The two facilitators who ran the workshop, commended the studen
